- 1-inch piece of ginger (1 इंच का अदरक)
- 2 green chilies (2 हरी मिर्च)
- 2 tablespoons ghee or vegetable oil (2 बड़े चमचे घी या वेजिटेबल तेल)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (1 छोटी चमच काला जीरा)
- 1 teaspoon white pepper powder (1 छोटी चमच सफेद मिर्च पाउडर)
- 1 cup milk (1 कप दूध)
- Salt to taste (नमक स्वाद अनुसार)
- Water as needed (जरुरत अनुसार पानी)
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish (ताजा धनिया पत्तियाँ सजाने के लिए)
Instructions:
- Heat ghee or vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and sauté them until they splutter.
- Add onions, ginger, garlic, and chilies to the pan. Sauté until the onions turn translucent.
- Drain the soaked cashews and add them to the pan. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes until the cashews start to turn golden brown.
- Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool down slightly.
- Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth, adding a little water if needed to achieve a creamy consistency.
- Return the blended mixture to the pan. Add white pepper powder and salt to taste.
